On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, the author and journalist Oliver Fischer will present his book “You can't experience love any stronger” in the Buddenbrookhaus in Lübeck, which deals with the passionate relationship between the famous writer Thomas Mann and the painter Paul Ehrenberg. Fischer, who has been chairman of the Thomas Mann Society in Hamburg since 2016, offers in his work a deep insight into the friendship between the two, which began around 1900. What is particularly noteworthy is that Mann expressed his love for Ehrenberg in a previously unpublished poem, which he wrote as a kind of homage to the young artist, reports The Lübeck museums.
