After cardiac arrest: BOVE celebrates comeback and plans to set a career!
The Italian U21 international Edoardo Bove first registered on Instagram during a frightening cardiac arrest during a game against Inter Milan. The 22-year-old, who plays for the Fiorentina, announced that he was doing well after collapsing in the stadium on December 1st and moving into the artificial coma. Last Friday he was released from the hospital and visited his teammates in front of the upcoming Copa Italia game. In his Instagram post, he thanked the fans who gave him a lot of strength and confirmed his determination of continuing his career, which encounters enthusiasm among his followers, like Oe24.at reported.
Bove’s future in football uncertain
whether Bove can continue his career in Italy remains questionable, since football players in Italy are not allowed to play with an implanted defibrillator. This rule has made the Danish international Christian Eriksen, who, after a cardiac arrest during the 2020 European Championship, for Inter Milan, to switch to England, where he is now playing for Manchester United, like Der Spiegel reported. For BOVE, this could mean that he may have to continue his career outside of Italy if he does not receive permission to return.
