Senior loses six -digit assets through two -time fraud!

An adventurous fraud swindle has made a 77-year-old pensioner in Tyrol easier for hundreds of thousands of euros. According to 5 minutes contacted the man on October 26, 2024 and attracted it with a supposedly lucrative Bitcoin business. Convinced by the offer, the pensioner sent several transfers, added up to a medium six -figure amount. At the end of November, contact with the dubious company broke off, which opened the man's eyes. But that's not all! On December 17th he received another call, this time from an alleged consultant. The latter promised to get the lost money back, but called for an advance payment in the form of a five -digit sum. The trust of the 77-year-old ultimately cost him even more money and deepened the hole into his finances.

breach of trust in the company

in parallel to this fraud in Markt Schwaben there is a shocking incident in its own company. A long-time employee, a 36-year-old, has robbed his boss for months and stolen cash worth 13,000 euros. Like the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported that the managing director repeatedly noticed was missing what moved him to complain to the police in Poing. A surveillance camera was installed together with the investigators, and only two days later the long -time employee could be found in the act. After the video evaluation was completed, the thief confessed to his deeds and returned at least 60 euros. The fracture of trust led to the employee without notice, who immediately had to vacate his accommodation on the company premises.

Both incidents throw a bright light on the subject of trust and was in today's times. While the pensioner was lured into the trap with tempting promises, the thief in the company proved to be a wolf in sheep's clothing. The police urgently warn of such frauds and the endangerment of personal and business trust.
