The fire brigade city of Schrobenhausen proactively faces the challenges of the lack of young talent. In order to counter the future without concern, a youth group was founded over 30 years ago that offers young people between the ages of 12 and 18 the opportunity to actively participate in fire work. The tradition of the base fire brigade, which welcomes the offspring with a welcome gift, is particularly noteworthy. For the new members of this community there is not only a snack box, but also the popular fire brigade kite Grisu. Access to this exciting and responsible task is not only characterized by technical interest, but also by team spirit and adventure lust. From the age of 16, the young people can take part in missions where they can gain valuable experience, always accompanied by experienced firefighters who assist them.
