A 25-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle due to a tire burst and drove into the oncoming lane. An oncoming 63-year-old tried to avoid the collision, but crashed into the guard rail and then collided head-on with another car. A 25-year-old VW driver veered off the road to the left and crashed into the center guard rail before being thrown across the lane. A 62-year-old Opel driver behind was no longer able to react in time and collided head-on with the VW.
