Oil disaster at 30 kilometers: Police investigate after the accident!

A spectacular incident is employed by the police in the Hildesheim district: a 32-year-old man from Bodenwerder caused more than 30 kilometers of oil track with his vehicle. According to information from NDR.de was discovered during the accident on December 6th after a VW Fox was collided with a truck in Burgstmen. Fortunately, the 49-year-old driver of the VW Fox only suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The investigation revealed that the 32-year-old previously enlarged heating oil in barrels. At least one of the barrels proved to be leaking, which led to a massive oil loss on the rain -wet road. The oil lanes stretched from castle stems to Bodenwerder. The fire brigade was quickly switched on to eliminate the danger site, but it turned out that the oil had already been seeped into the ground. The Police Inspection Hildesheim informed that due to the immediate proximity to the leash there is a risk of contamination of the river, which is why a specialist company must remove the affected area.

The investigation against the 32-year-old cause is to be seen, and it remains to be seen the legal consequences to expect after his negligence caused such a scale of environmental risk. It is estimated that the property damage from the accident amounts to around 4,500 euros.
