Nikolaus campaign: Height rescuers bring joy to the children's clinic!
Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, Deutschland - On Nicholas Day, December 6th, children experienced an unforgettable surprise in two clinics thanks to courageous height rescuers. In Neuburg an der Donau, Nikolaus, aka Fabian Kress, roped down with angel Marie Finkenzeller from the roof of the Ameos Clinic. This spectacle, accompanied by more than 100 amazed spectators, was organized by the height rescue team of the Ingolstadt professional fire brigade, who wanted to bring the little patients a touch of home and festivity to their everyday hospital life. As Donaukurier received support from Thomas Heinrich, the department head, who had everything in mind to ensure a smooth process.
Similar things happened in Trier, where the fire brigade's height rescuers delighted the children's ward of the mother house clinic with a spectacular abseil act. Under the bright eyes of the little patients and their families, Nikolaus and Engel came directly from the roof and distributed gifts from their big sack. Dr. Andreas Palzer, deputy fire chief of Trier, emphasized the importance of this campaign, especially on a day that is so important for children. According to Localo it was a successful surprise that gave the children and the hospital staff pleasure. The nationwide campaign, in which over 50 height rescue groups are involved, was launched to give sick children a smile and to convey a little Christmas joy.Details | |
