Nine new breathing apparatus wearers: Fire Brigade Landshut shines in training!

The Landshut volunteer fire brigade recently celebrated an impressive success: nine new breathing apparatus wearers, including two brave firefighters and seven brave firefighters, have successfully completed their training! Under the direction of Markus Leckebusch and Nicklas Pupow, an intensive program was underway, which included both theoretical basics and practical exercises. The prospective rescuers were put through their paces in the respiratory protection exercise system of the main fire station and in various operational exercises.

The highlight of the training was a demanding stress test, in which the participants had to climb the hose tower and march a round over the Moniberg. New in this course was the handling of the basket tube of the aerial ladder, which is now also part of the training program. The final exam consisted of three challenging parts: the respiratory protection creep, a written examination and a theoretical examination. All participants mastered these challenges with flying colors!

After the exams were successfully completed, the new respiratory protection equipment wearers received their certificates from the training managers and the fire brigade management. From now on, you can take action in your extermination use in your extinguishing trains! The fire brigade management expressed their thanks to the two training managers and the respiratory protection officer of the individual fire trucks, who actively contributed to the successful implementation of the course.

The new breathing apparatus wearers are: Andreas Brandl and Christian Hanel (both LZ Achdorf), Johannes Rohrmeier (LZ Rennweg), Paul Wendleder (LZ Hofberg), Katharina Heinrich (LZ Münchnerau), Raffael Frauendienst, Alexandra Niederreiter, Marcel Riedel (all LZ Siedlung) and Justus Jödden (LZ Schönbrunn).
