New Year's reception in Großwallstadt: Introdial honor and projects!

At the New Year's reception of the municipality of Großwallstadt on January 9, 2025, Mayor Roland Eppig (FW) drew a positive balance of the past year. Despite financial challenges due to high millions of repayments, a solid household was submitted, which enables a six -digit supply to the financial budget.

The planned projects for 2024 is the completion of the waterworks, which has already started regular operation. The new children's house is also about to graduate. In addition, the renovation of the Cardinal Döpfner School will begin, and a grant application for the renovation of Lindenstrasse in the amount of around one million euros was submitted to the Water Management Office. In addition, gaps I and II, a motorhome parking space and the expansion of a barbecue area are planned. Eppig emphasized the need to deal responsibly with the financial means and compared the municipality with a company in relation to resource use. However, projects such as the local core design and the conversion of the old fire station have been put back for the time being.
