The brand new Stadtroda photo calendar for 2025 is now available! In a creative cooperation between the city administration, the senior advisory board and the Pestalozzi high school, talented students under the direction of Tom Wagner and Romana Schneider captured the beauty of Stadtroda. The pictures were carefully selected and edited to present the diversity of the city. The calendar can be purchased for only 3 euros in the tourist information and other locations. A great example of cross -generational creativity!

Christmas magic and support for the youth fire brigade

On December 19, the Eisenberger Stadthalle becomes the setting for the Christmas concert "Home Feelings at Christmas time". The Grand Prix winners Sigrid and Marina bring the most famous winter and Christmas carols to the stage and invite the audience to a short musical vacation in the snowy mountains. The popular artists Markus Wolfahrt and the success duo Vincent and Fernando are also part of the party.

Another ray of hope: The Lindig youth fire brigade received a generous donation of 500 euros from Matt Optik in Jena! Mayor Jördis Müller praised the active role of the fire brigade in the village and emphasized how important such support is for young people. The money is used to visit a special base fire brigade. A real profit for the young firefighters!

In addition, the Saale-Holzland-Kreis has published a new senior citizen path waler that offers valuable information for older citizens. This brochure is distributed free of charge and contains everything from services to contact persons. Another step to support the needs of the elderly and to facilitate everyday life!
