Annual General Meeting of the Tambourcorps Meggen: A review full of honors!
drama in Lennestadt! On Saturday, November 16, 2024, the members of the Tambourcorps Meggen gathered in the Schützenhalle Schützenhof to hold their annual general meeting. Under the chairmanship of Marcel Laukant, who welcomed 30 members and numerous guests of honor, including fire department leaders Markus Hamers, a look back at an eventful year. The rehearsals were revised to intensify the club work and to secure the future of the corps. Particularly gratifying: seven young musicians are currently being trained by experienced musicians - and that is completely free!
an evening full of honors and highlights
The meeting was peppered with highlights! Five members were honored for their outstanding participation in appearances and rehearsals. In 2024, the drum corps was active in 19 appearances and is already planning numerous rifle festivals and events for 2025. Silke Dolle was re -elected as deputy chair for three years, while Barbara Eckhardt did not run again as secretary after two decades, but was retained as an active member. Your services were recognized with the state honorary plate of the NRW folk musician association. Daniela Werthmann is new in office.
An emotional moment was the handover of the drumstab: after 20 years, Thomas Krippendorf handed it over to Marc Laukant, who was immediately surprised with a new note of his favorite march. Numerous honors were issued for long -term memberships, including Elisa Hesse and Manuel Schindler for 10 years, and Bernd Krippendorf for an incredible 50 years in the club. To the crowning glory, Markus Hamers presented his shoulder flaps to the new drum major and congratulated him on behalf of the fire brigade Lennestadt.
