Gifhorn. A dramatic incident occurred in an apartment in Gifhorn at the weekend when a dog owner alerted the police because his dog blocked the exit. What was going on behind closed doors can hardly be grasped!

During the night of Sunday, guests of a dog owner had to flee from their apartment on the second floor - over a window! The reason? An inexplicably aggressive dog that blocked access to the outside. The owner had connected the dog to a radiator, but the animal left no more or out. The situation was so tense that the fire brigade had to be called to evacuate the guests.

When the police arrived, the officers heard only a threatening growl behind the apartment door. In order to free the trapped guests, the fire brigade brought a ladder to the window. A brave firefighter climbed and quickly realized: The dog was by no means aggressive, but just wanted to go for a walk! The four -legged friend was friendly and open -minded, and after consultation with the owner, he was handed over to the care of animal welfare.
