The excellent ones saved life through their quick action, be it through first aid, resuscitation or missions in difficult terrain. Such acts not only require courage, but also the willingness to take personal risks. As can be seen from a study, civil courage remains a critical topic in society. It is examined which motifs people are moving to show civil courage and what obstacles are in the way.
civil courage in everyday life
civil courage is not just a word, but an active action that is often initiated by injustice in society. According to a Study of the BPB , the willingness to the civil courage is often dependent on various factors. The essential aspects include moral ideas, social skills and individual responsibility, which is often associated with emotional closeness to those affected.
Nevertheless, many people look away, often out of fear or resignation. The study identifies several factors that both promote and inhibit civil courage. The beneficial characteristics include self -confidence and empathy, while fear of social isolation and perception of risks in critical situations can reduce the willingness to become active.
The honorary event in Carinthia is an impressive example of how civil courage can be estimated and promoted in society. It is important to bring such heroes into public awareness and to create an environment in which civil courageed action is rewarded.
