Christmas Eve escalated: Man puts a house in Balingen on fire!

Balingen, Deutschland - on Christmas Eve, December 24th, there was a dramatic incident in a residential building in Balingen (Zollernalbkreis) when a 35-year-old man sparked several fires in his home. The dispute with his 36-year-old partner seemed to be the trigger for arson. According to the reports of swr and Schwäbischer Zeitung was triggered at the Fire brigade at 12:30 p.m. than a fire broke out in Etzelbachstrasse.

The fire brigade was on site with about 60 emergency services to extinguish the flames, whereby the roof of the house had to be torn down to get to all the foci. Fortunately, people were still in the building during the fire, but nobody was injured. The property damage amounts to around 80,000 euros. After the incident, the alleged arsonist left the building, but was arrested by the police after a short search. On the first day of Christmas, the Balingen criminal police took over.

A arrest warrant was issued at the request of the Hechingen public prosecutor's office. The man was taken into custody on Wednesday.
