In addition to the fire, the police were also called for a traffic accident in the districts of Verden and Osterholz. A VW Polo and a VW EOS collided when the driver of a VW did not perceive a turn in time. The material damage is estimated at around 8,000 euros. At the same time, the police reported two other incidents, including alcohol control at a moped driver in Osterholz-Scharmbeck and an escape escape on a supermarket car park in Worpswede, where the polluter escaped.

These events on a single day show the challenges with which the emergency services in the region are faced. The Verden/Osterholz police inspection remains active in the clarification of these cases and asks the population for help.
