While the fire brigade was employed in the mill, a serious traffic accident occurred on the A57 at 12:45 p.m., in which three cars and a truck loaded with cement collided. The next challenge was waiting at 2:27 p.m. with a basement fire in Hardenbergstrasse in All Saints. After checking the first site, the fire brigade moved back to the same mill at 3:01 p.m. when aluminum dust led to a fire again. Fortunately, another explosion at a residential building in Weckhoven at 3:02 p.m. proved to be a harmless heating defect without open fire.
