Fire brigade in action: false alarm and sleeping senior cause excitement!

A technical misfortune caused excitement in Glückstadt on Tuesday morning (November 5)! During maintenance work on the fire alarm system of the lucky node at the church square, technicians accidentally triggered a fire alarm. Shortly before 11 a.m., the police and fire brigade were ready to avert possible dangers. But the fright was over quickly when it turned out that it was a false alarm. The emergency services had disappeared as quickly as they had come.

But that was not the only exciting incident in the city! Already on Sunday afternoon (November 3) the Glückstadt fire brigade had to move out to help a senior in the Blomesche wilderness. When the older gentleman did not react to knocking and calling, the emergency services feared the worst. With their door opening dishes they finally broke the door and found the senior sleeping. Fortunately, he didn't need help and was just deeply sunk in his dreams.

on Monday evening (November 4th) the fire brigade had their hands full again. During a regular service and practice evening, a fire truck got into a predicament on a property and stuck. The comrades had to help each other and use another fire engine to free the stuck vehicle back onto the street. Another proof that the fire brigade is ready not only for fires, but also for unexpected challenges!
