Fire brigade Barnekow celebrates the opening of the new tool shed!

An exciting event is imminent! On Monday, November 18, 2024, at 4 p.m., Interior Minister Cristian Pegel, together with Mayor Hartmut Siggelkow, will ceremoniously inaugurate the brand new fire brigade equipment house in Barnekow, Northwest Mecklenburg district. A moment that makes the fire brigade and the community shine in new splendor!

After only one year of construction, the modern fire station is finally ready to open its doors. The municipality of Barnekow received a generous funding commitment of over 640,000 euros in February of this year to implement this important project. A real gain for the region! The Barnekow volunteer fire brigade, located at Wismarschen Straße 25, is now equipped with a state -of -the -art center that will optimally support the emergency services.
