A dramatic fire in an underground car park of a residential and commercial building in Frankfurt am Main caused excitement in the night of December 19, 2024. At around 11:40 p.m., the fire brigade and the emergency services received the alarm to Grempstraße in Bockenheim after smoke was registered. Thanks to the sprinkler systems installed in the underground car park, two burning scooters have already been deleted when the emergency services arrived. The fire brigade used the fan unit of the fire station 11 to free the underground car park from the dangerous smoke. A total of around 52 emergency services and 18 vehicles were on site to control the situation. The extensive work continued until around 1:30 a.m. until the danger situation was finally adjusted.
