In the night of December 28, 2024, in Obersendling, Munich, a dramatic fire that put a greenhouse completely in rubble and ash. The fire that broke out on midnight on Lochhamer Straße quickly caused an alarm mood: several callers reported the flame note from a backyard and promptly alerted the fire brigade. When the emergency services arrived, the greenhouse, about 2 × 2 meters tall, was already on fire, with the risk of having threatened to overlap to an adjacent garden house, such as the Fireworld reported.

The fire brigade was able to quickly initiate the fire fighting with two extinguishing ears and prevent further damage. In the destroyed greenhouse there were also two gas bottles, which immediately led to dangerous gas leaks through the heat. By quickly acting the fire brigade, these were removed from the danger area in good time and emptied safely. Despite the Cologne -based commitment, the full lower burning of the greenhouse, in which plants were stored for wintering, could not be prevented. The estimated property damage amounts to around 1,500 euros, such as Presseportal reported.
