A church in the small community of Nenzing was set on fire, but the damage was surprisingly minimal. Thanks to the sexton's quick action, the fire was largely extinguished before the fire department arrived. The Nenzing volunteer fire department, which was quickly on the scene, then took over the further extinguishing and ventilation work VOL.AT reported.
The exact circumstances of the fire are still unclear. However, police believe that church pews may have been set on fire, suggesting a deliberate arson attack vorarlberg.ORF.at.
