On Friday, December 27, 2024, the fire department was alerted to a fire in the Schwabhausen building yard at 8:49 a.m. The operation was triggered by a clear development of smoke from the operations hall, which is located near the fire station.
When the emergency services arrived, which included the Schwabhausen fire department, the Arnbach fire department and other fire departments from Dachau, Großberghofen, Günding and Oberbachern, it turned out that a snow clearing vehicle was on fire in the hall. Two fire brigade squads used breathing apparatus to fight the fire. The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished after about 30 minutes. “Fire out” was reported at 9:19 a.m. and the fire extinguishing work was completed by the Schwabhausen and Arnbach fire departments. Luckily there were no injured people. The operation ended around 10:20 a.m., with the emergency services and police also present. In addition, the district fire inspection was also on duty.

In addition, the fire department was called to a traffic accident in Stetten on April 19, 2024, in which two cars collided in the Dachauerstrasse/Dorfstrasse intersection area. Here too, the fire brigade took over the security of the accident site.
