Russia attacks Kyiv again: Dead and injured when the rocket fire!

Russia has again covered Ukraine with aggressive rocket attacks, in which at least one person was killed in Kiev and three more, including one nine -year -old child, were injured. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported several fires in residential buildings that were triggered by the attacks. The Ukrainian military reported that six of seven ballistic rockets and 71 drones were successfully intercepted, which underlines the efficiency of air defense. The Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj said after the incident and called for "strong steps" against the aggression of Russia, whose President Vladimir Putin continues to attack civil goals, as on OE24 was reported.

In one of the most intense attacks since the beginning of the war, there were attacks nationwide on critical infrastructure. According to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrij Sybiha, it was a massive attack with around 120 rockets and 90 drones, which destabilizes the energy supply of the entire Ukraine. Reports describe damage to central energy plants in the regions of Saporischschja and Krywyj Rih, whereby Dtek, the country's largest private energy supplier, reported the drastic state of its thermal power plants. In several regions such as Riwne and Wolhynia, the energy supply was set as a precaution in order to protect the network from overload. The energy chief Herman Haluschtschenko announced that Russia's targeted attacks on the infrastructure could now be a repeating pattern since winter, which would leave the civilian population in extreme cold temperatures without heat and electricity, like the Tagesschau reported.
