Russia attacks: Drone war and supply bottlenecks in Ukraine!

The escalation on the Eastern Front achieves new dimensions: Russian troops have started massive attacks on Ukrainian positions south, west and east of the city of Pokrowsk. This offensive aims to cut off the Ukrainian forces from their care routes, which has been considered one of the most difficult setbacks for Ukraine for months, as the Kleine Zeitung reported. If the city, which counted 60,000 inhabitants before the war, could disturb the Ukrainian care lines along the eastern front and further drive Russia's offensive strategy.

In addition to the soil offensives, Russia carried out attacks out of the air in addition to the soil offensives. In particular, the southern city of Mykolajiw was hit, where at least one person was injured and an important infrastructure building caught fire, which could be deleted quickly. In Kyiv there was also damage to several houses, but without injuries. According to reports, Russia used 143 drones, 95 of which were successfully shot down, while 46 were neutralized by electronic air defense.

Drohn technology plays a crucial role in the Ukraine War because both Ukrainian and Russian troops use them against opposing infrastructures. In response to these threats, the Cyber Innovation Hub of the Bundeswehr developed training for drone defense - the training "drone defense against all troops" (DAAT). A drone attack is simulated to prepare soldiers for emergencies. This procedure enables repeated practice without damage to the target drones, whereby the technology is tested with the help of a laser on conventional weapons, according to the report on cyber innovation hub . This innovative training is currently being tested with the Luftwaffe property protection regiment in Schortens, which is considered an important development to close a capacity gap in training.
