Customs strikes: 5,121 fake branded products at Vienna Airport!
A massive blow against product piracy was carried out in November at the Vienna Airport. Customsers secured a total of 5,121 fake branded products in four programs from Thailand. The counterfeits included 1,402 pairs of shoes, 1,279 bags and back bags, 415 sports shirts and many other items such as jackets, belts and jewelry. These goods should be sent from Thailand via Austria to Great Britain and the Netherlands, such as kosmo.at reported.

Finance Minister Gunter Mayr made it clear that product piracy was not a cavalier offense. He explained: "These counterfeits damage the honest company and with mostly less quality consumers." The fake products were confiscated and the rights holders were informed accordingly.
