For the second time, the students and a wide audience await the fascinating ring lectures "Europe concepts from an interdisciplinary perspective". Scientists from the Faculty of Cultural Studies and Economics present their revealing perspectives on the multi -layered phenomenon "Europe". Every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the lecture hall H2, the exciting discourse is opened!

The diversity of topics is almost limitless: from the power structures of the European Powers system of early modern times to the American perspective on European philosophy, to the perspectives of gender studies on the European Union - there is something to discover for everyone. In addition, guest speakers from renowned cities such as Le Mans, Berlin and Madrid enrich these scholars with their knowledge and views.

The lecture on Thursday, October 24th, will be particularly electrifying: Prof. Dr. Thomas Marchetti from the University of Paderborn will give illuminating insights from 2 to 4 p.m. in the lecture hall H4 under the title "Europe as a political construction". This event is part of the new “European Studies” course in the Master Culture and Society, but in the Generale studies, it is also explicitly aimed at everyone who wants to learn more about the many facets in Europe.
