Lower Austria's State Security Council: Protection against Extremism reinforced!

In a crucial session, the Lower Austrian state government today launched the new state security council. Under the chair of Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, the committee will regularly deal with important security issues in the future. The close cooperation between the Lower Austrian security family, the state authorities and federal politics is to be put on new, formal legs. Mikl-Leitner emphasized the urgency of the topic of security: "There is nothing more important than the security of our compatriots. Extremism and terror are challenges with which we are now increasingly confronted."
