Time travel to the Gothic feeling: Markus Kavka rocks Göttingen!
Göttingen. A spectacle of the extra class developed in the young theater when the charismatic Markus Kavka on an exciting time ride 80s and 90s. Exuberant mood and nostalgic memories shaped the reading from his new book about the legendary band Depeche Mode. He was accompanied by DJ Kai Hawaii, who put on the best tracks of the time after the reading and made the audience dance.
KAVKA, who is known as a music journalist and former moderator at Viva and MTV, let the audience immerse yourself in his experiences as a Gothic teacher. He told of his wild times when he was immortalized with his friend in the famous "Bravo", of his first love and the weird fashion taste, which was probably the "goth" of the era. "I even had a flirt in Göttingen," Kavka smiled and gave up the memories in the audience.
Markus Kavka: Many laughs and memories
With the anecdote about his hairstyle, which did not bring him a glamor, but only misleading permanent waves, Kavka provided many laughs in the sold -out house. "Back then I wanted to look like Dave Gahan," he confessed and drew a lively picture of his youth, which was anything but brilliant. The self -irony and the description of the fashion at that time ensured absolute echo in the audience. He remembered his first trips to cult clubs and the weird bouncer motto: "The raccoon stays outside!"
Even on stage, Kavka was able to give the typical dance movements that the Depeche Mode fans perfected at the time. He reported on his first concert in 1986 and the exciting thrill when he led his first interview with the band in 2001. "They were even great when I had ever dreamed of," revealed Kavka enthusiastically. The evening finally culminated in an exuberant party, to which the love of music and many nostalgic anecdotes combined: an evening full of humor, music and a touch of magic in Göttingen. All in all an unforgettable experience for all Depeche fashion lovers!
