Christmas business is booming: 7.5 billion euros in sales in sight!
This year's Christmas sale is better than ever, and the latest figures show a significant increase in customer frequency in the shops. According to the trade association, there were about a quarter more buyers compared to the previous year on the third Saturday of Advent. Vouchers, clothing and sporting goods are particularly in demand. This positive development could lead to the total turnover of 7.5 billion euros in December, which surpasses the record of 7.34 billion euros in the previous year, as the chairman Rainer Willi announced.
