Weimar History Festival: City and Land in exciting dialogue!

An exciting festival full of history and culture is imminent! From Friday, Weimar will become a stage for the "Weimar Rendezvous", a festival that inspires with a huge program. And the best? The majority of the events are free! In the central bank, actor Christian Berkel opens the celebrations at 6 p.m. and brings the tension between city and country to life with his readings from philosophical and literary works.

But that's just the beginning: the festival offers 15 podiums, five lectures, three workshops and even two plays! The offers range from workshops for young scientists in the city museum to exciting role -playing games in the House of the Weimar Republic, where the participants can immerse themselves in history and try to save the first German democracy from doom. Guided tours through the castle and Park Belvedere await visitors, followed by a captivating documentary about political participation in rural areas. The entire event promises to become a historical experience for everyone!
