Creative through autumn: free places in Weimar's painting and drawing school!

Weimar. The painting school in Weimar offers a variety of creative workshops in October, and some of them are still available.

A special highlight is the basic course “Painting - whether oil paint or acrylic, the exact mix of colors it turns out” under the direction of Jorge Villalba. This course is ideal for all those who want to dive into the world of painting. Here the participants get to know the chemical and physical properties of the colors, as well as their unpredictable behavior.

variety of workshops

In the ceramic workshop with Frank Steenbeck, the modeling of sound portraits is on the program. In contrast to conventional portraits, the focus is not on the exact mapping in the focus, but exploring plastic shapes and movements. The participants have the opportunity to experiment creatively and develop their individual artistic approaches.

Another exciting workshop is offered by Peggy Pohle. In this course, the participants explore the Goethepark and the autumn environment, collecting small treasures from nature that are later artistically processed.

For those who are interested in human form, Karsten Kunert offers an intensive course in the setting. This course is aimed at both beginners and advanced and includes extensive knowledge transfer to figurative drawing, form finding and visual representation.

In addition, the textile artistic work in the form of a collage is offered under the guidance of Britta Schatton. Here the participants experiment with the innovative merinofiber tissue felt technology and delve into the artistic-craftsmanship.

Interested parties can register for the workshops on the website of the painting and drawing school Malschule-weimar.de
