An unknown perpetrator caused chaos on the weekend on Humboldtstrasse and Marcel-Paul-Straße by making door locks unusable with liquid glue. The affected residents had to have their locks exchanged. What a low prank! The police are investigating and looking for information on the culprit.

On Friday afternoon, a 24-year-old was caught in the Atrium Weimar during shoplifting. Together with an accomplice, he wanted to steal goods worth 100 euros, but the shop detective had an eye on the two. In a shocking moment, the thief threatened the detective with a 17 centimeter long knife! The police were called and found not only the stolen goods in his backpack, but also the weapon. But that's not all: the 24-year-old was not alone, because another companion against whom an arrest warrant was available was also there. However, he was able to get out of the term by paying the amount due.

But the street villains were not finished yet! On Saturday, a woman was stolen her Yamaha worth 200 euros. She had secured the scooter with a steering wheel lock, but in the evening she found it badly damaged and no longer made it back to Herrmann-Brill-Platz. Another slap in the face for the citizens of Weimar!
