The Treffurt kindergarten "The Little Werra Patzes" invites you to a magical lantern parade on Tuesday, November 12th, at 5 p.m. The small lights will illuminate the path to the fairground under the linden trees, where delicious stick bread is baked at the campfire. Don't forget to bring your own sticks and cups for mulled wine and children's punch! A festival for the whole family!

The state of Hesse has provided generous funding of 68,500 euros for the construction of a pedestrian bridge on the popular P6 hiking trail between Wanfried and Treffurt. This bridge will not only delight the hikers, but also make walkers and cyclists easier access to the unique nature of the green band. Mayor Wilhelm Gebhard emphasizes the importance of this bridge for the region and the preservation of Premiumweg P6, which leads through the Frankenloch nature reserve and keeps the history of the inner -German border alive.
