Thuringian children's and literary days: A festival for young readers in the Saale-Orla district!

Saale-Orla-Kreis. An exciting literature festival for the youngest is on the move! The 3rd Thuringian Children's and Youth Literature Days bring fireworks to the Saale-Orla district-and not only for the small bookworms, but also for their parents!

Under the motto "See, hear, experience", an exciting program is offered from November 6th to 9th, which combines fairy tales from all over the world and the popular heroes from childhood. There will be creative workshops in daycare centers and schools, while numerous public events make the heart of every bookworm beat faster. On Wednesday, November 6th, the festival starts with an opening event in the Wisentahalle Schleiz, where Antje Horn brings the fairy tale "The devil with the three golden hair" - musically accompanied by Johannes Gräbner.

A look at the highlights

Thursday, November 7th, promises to be exciting: Alexander Hahne reads the story "Doc Macdooleys Elfenstäch" twice in the town church Schleiz. For the fans of the cult series "The Three ???" There are several interactive readings that inspire generations - including in the Bilke city library in Pößneck. And on Friday, November 8th, another highlight will be set: Andreas von Rothenbarth presents fairy tales from all over the world in the Triptis City Library.

The final of the literary festival takes place on Saturday, November 9th. Author Jens Reinländer will read in the Neustadt city library on the Orla from his work "Edgar - My Life between Nobel Prize and Asskarte". There is also an exciting puppet show by Angela Carl and a rousing poetry slam as a final event in the Bilke city library in Pößneck.
