Sternen sky, music and game: a weekend full of highlights!

Saale-woodland. An exciting weekend is just around the corner! The Saale-Holzland invites you to spectacular events that do not leave boredom: from the fascinating stars in Tautenburg to rousing music in the Großlöbichau church!

The long night of the stars

On Saturday, October 26th, the state starry in Tautenburg will become a hotspot of astronomy! From 5 p.m. to midnight, the gates open for star friend: inside of all ages. Weather forecasts promise clear views so that visitors can look into the depths of the universe with the impressive two-meter mirror telescope. The fascinating lectures take you into the world of modern astronomy and show current research projects. And for the small astronomers there are three exciting book readings on the topic of coping with grief - a pleasure for all children from the age of nine!

but remember to bring warm clothes with you, because the dome is not barrier -free.

concert highlights and special games

On Sunday, October 27, at 4 p.m., music lovers await a dazzling concert in the church in Großlöbichau! The Ikuj Windkind ensemble brings the sounds from different cultures to the hearing - folklore in German, French, Russian, Yiddish and English. A festival of joy for the ears, admission is free, donations are welcome!

Here it will also be sporty! At the same time, the off -road game of the youth fire brigades will be played in Frauenprießnitz. 21 youth groups fight for victory at ten stations. Around 300 young firefighters are expected to be available for the award ceremony at around 3 p.m. at the tool shed, where district administrator Johann Waschnewski will also be present.

And that's not all! In the afternoon, the accordion orchestra Carl Zeiss Jena ensures musical highlights in Milda at 4 p.m. The mix ranges from Telemann to Abba and Michael Jackson - admission costs 8 euros. Afterwards, warm Soljanka and drinks are waiting for the guests!

Another highlight will be the final concert of the 41st concert summer in the monastery church of Frauenprießnitz, in which the masterpieces of Bach and Handel will be heard. The Dresden trumpet virtuoso J.K. Schäfer and organ artist Matthias Eisenberg promise a southern German tones that should not be missed!
