Rudolstadt. A new place to end for hikers at the Bismarck Tower!

Wanderfreunde, be careful! At the Bismarck Tower via Zeigerheim there is now a new retreat. A fresh hiking hut was inaugurated a few days ago - a real jewel for everyone who wants to relax in nature! The merits for this project fees of Strabag AG Group Rudolstadt, which established this hut as part of a trainee project. The client took over the financing.

The new shelter ties in with the past: As early as 1900, there was a wooden hut in the same place, which, however, fell and disappeared over time. Club chief Uli Batzke beamed at the inauguration: "This is a generous gift!" Thanks to the hardworking employees of the Strabag Group and their boss Markus Hase. The hikers can now not only find protection against rain, but also enter them in the guest book and record their experiences.

But that's just the beginning! The work around the Bismarck Tower continues. The Freundeskreis Bismarckturm consistently uses donations from events for the renovation of the tower. A scaffold will soon be set up to maintain the masonry and refresh the tower. Further donations are urgently required to implement these ambitious plans.
