Eisenberg is looking for creative helpers for magical night Christmas market!

November 29 and 30 are in full swing. This year, the organizers, under the direction of Katrin Geppert and city manager Max Nottrodt, are striving to bring even more magic and romance into the event. The aim is to create a colorful and appealing atmosphere that attracts both locals and visitors.

For the design of the market and the associated Christmas parade, creative minds, committed helpers and sponsors are in demand. "It would be nice to find a few more volunteers who would like to participate," says Geppert, while she is in her warehouse between colorful costumes. The participants can help with various preparations, including handicrafts, or you can even actively run in the parade that is under the motto "Fairy tale and Christmas figures from all over the world".

The big Christmas parade

The parade will start on November 30th at 6 p.m. and leads through the streets of Eisenberg, including the Steinweg and the rear market. It is led by the traditional blue Eisenberger Santa Claus, whose costume carries the coat of arms. Geppert also plans a small staging with a classic Little Red Riding Hood and hopes that actors will still report to these roles. In the run -up to the event, 119 participants in the Parade took part in the parade last year, a sign of the living community in Eisenberg.

The parade will present a variety of fairy tale figures that are new and unique for many in Germany. This forms the heart of the festival and is supplemented by the musical and visual design. "Many helping hands are needed to organize all of this," said Nothstrodt about the challenges of the event.
