On Thursday, November 7th, the "Jazz deficiency" in Nordhausen becomes a hotspot for jazz lovers! The British jazz guitarist Mike Walker, known from the American and British jazz scene, appears together with Sammy Lukas on the keyboard and Marcus Horn. Entry costs 23 euros and the doors open at 7 p.m. Don't miss this extraordinary musical experience - and enjoy the legendary fat bread with cucumber!

autumn flea market in the Stöbereck

On Saturday, November 9th, the "Stöbereck" on Taschenberg in Nordhausen transforms into a real bargain paradise! From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. there is discounts of up to 50 percent on furniture, household items and clothing at the second autumn flea market. Oksana Savas promises a large selection and invites all bargain hunters to browse through coffee and cake. At the first event, over 400 visitors came last year - that will be a festival!

But that's not all! This Saturday the Pro-Vita-Akademie in the Sibling-Scholl-Straße 14. Students of the ninth and tenth classes as well as interested parties in retraining awaits an exciting program with insights into different apprenticeships. From care to physiotherapy to social pedagogy - here you will learn everything about your career opportunities!

and not to forget: In Bleicherode, the Reichspogromnacht will be commemorated on November 9th. The afternoon begins with an exhibition about the Jewish community, followed by a film screening and an ecumenical prayer. An impressive candle train will round off the remembrance day.

On the same day, the Gospel Choir Karibu in the Blasii Church gives a benefit concert in favor of the "Bread for the World" campaign. Singing for a good cause from 5 p.m. - admission is free, but the support is urgently needed!
