, dear Nordhäuser! Because of the Reformation Day on October 31, the garbage disposal in the region is postponed by one day. This means that regular Thursday disposal is canceled and is moved to Friday, November 1st. The last time will take place on Saturday, November 2, the garbage disposal this week. All details can be found in the waste calendar and on the website www.ahnfall-nordhausen.de. An important note: The waste management center and the electrical acceptance point closed on this holiday!

bridge day: SWG remains closed!

For all tenants in Nordhausen: The municipal housing association (SWG) will be closed on Friday, November 1st! If you have urgent concerns, you can still reach the SWG by phone on 03631/92 03. See it positively: The next tenant's day of office is already on Monday, November 4th, and the doors are open for you from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

In addition, an exciting dog meadow is in prospect for Sollstedt! At the request of the citizens, the area between the former youth club and the indoor pool is fenced. Mayor Tobias Tessel (SPD) announces that there are also employment opportunities for dogs - a real joy for all dog lovers!

Another highlight in the region: the new special exhibition in the Nordhäuser Museum Flohburg! Under the title "The German Schützenbund under black and red and gold and the endeavor to national unity", it offers a fascinating insight into the history of the shooting system by January 5. Curator Jürgen Vopel has compiled many unique pieces - an absolute must for interested parties!

Last but not least, there is also news from the cemeteries in Sollstedt. There is already some progress here - a handrail has been installed at the access to the cemetery in Wülfingerode, and the facade of the mourning hall in Sollstedt shines in new splendor. Further renovations are planned and Mayor Tressel gives exciting insights into the projects.
