Drugs and alcohol: Police stops three driving drivers in Nordhausen
Nordhausen. In a series of traffic controls in Nordhausen, the police pulled three drivers out of the market last weekend who were no longer traveling. The controls took place on both Friday and Saturday and concerned cases of drug and alcohol influence.
On Friday at 11:45 a.m., a 17-year-old was stopped by the officials with her electric scooter on the street Am Roßmannsbach. During the review, it turned out that it was under the influence of intoxicating means, which was confirmed by a corresponding preliminary test. The police then prompted blood to take the exact condition of the driver.
further controls at night
continued in the night from Saturday to Sunday when a 24-year-old steered his Citroen on Hallesche Straße around 4:40 a.m. During a further check, there was a positive drug resort, which was ordered to take a blood sample. In this case too, an administrative offense procedure was opened to take the necessary legal steps.
The authorities take such controls very seriously to ensure traffic safety and prevent the influence of drugs or alcohol from being driven. Such measures are important to protect road users and pedestrians.
