A dramatic incident shook Naumburger Strasse in Jena on Saturday afternoon! A 29-year-old driver disregarded the right of way and crashed into a tram on line 4 with full force, which was just towards the city center. The collision not only left a destroyed car, but also a considerable property damage of at least 10,000 euros on the tram!

The episodes were immediately noticeable: the tram was badly damaged over a length of about 15 meters and the car was no longer ready to drive after the impact.
