Jena. An exciting look back into the 80s: The Jena journalist Hans-Werner Kreidner presents a fascinating collection of photos in his new illustrated book "Jena-Photographs from the 80s" during the past few years Document GDR. These pictures not only arouse memories, but also show many buildings that were no longer existed or redesigned today. A true contemporary witness that captivates both locals and visitor!
But that's not all Jena has to offer! Deutsche Telekom continues the expansion of the state -of -the -art fiber optic network in the city. From spring 2025, the districts of Jena Center, Jena-West and Munich Roda will be supplied with a total of 98 kilometers of fiber optic and 14 new distributors. Around 34,000 households already benefit from this future -oriented expansion. A real progress for the city's digital infrastructure!

and not to forget: On November 16, the Krippendorfer is expecting a spectacular laser show event in the historic village church, accompanied by epic music. Admission is free and the event also serves to collect donations for the urgently needed repair of the baroque church organ. An evening full of light and music is waiting!
