Five exciting tips that you should not miss on the holiday will increase the anticipation for the events in the city. On Wednesday evening there are four captivating Halloween parties! Party-hungry can look forward to the eerie night in the Sparkassen-Arena, which begins at 10 p.m. At the same time, the Erasmus Halloween party at the MVZ Wagner and the disco "Flashback Halloween" in the M-Pire Music Club are heating up with varied programs. An hour later, the Kassablanca opens its doors for the Halloween special of the "Supernova". The night belongs to the party!

Festive program for all

Another highlight is the festival service in the city church, which starts on Thursday at 10 a.m. The Albert Schweitzer Sprengel from Jena-Ost is responsible for this important ceremony, and the sermon is held by Pastor Sven Hennig. There is also a special children's service for the small community members. Simply perfect for families!

At 2 p.m., the city tour for the Reformation will offer an incomparable experience. City guide Sabine Weiß slips into the role of the "Sibylle von Kleve" and leads through Jena's historic sites of the Reformation. The eerie "scary lesson" in the romantic house at 5 p.m. brings exciting entertainment for young and old. Under the title "Sandmann, dear Sandmann?" Expect gruesome stories about the famous sandman, which was once known as a creepy figure. Tickets are available for children from one euro, adults pay three euros.

The day ends with the musical performance of the boy choir of the Jena Philharmonic in the city church at 7 p.m. Together with the choir boys from Uetersen, they will perform works by Mendelssohn, Bruckner, and Brahms.
