The tension is rising! After a brilliant start to the season with three wins in three games, the Blue Volleys Gotha now face two tough tests.

The first duel will kick off in Bühl on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The former first division team is back in the 2nd Bundesliga South and established itself as a newcomer last year with an impressive fourth place. The Baden team have already celebrated victories against Kriftel and Dresden this season, but had to accept a narrow 2:3 defeat against last year's champions Eltmann. Dangerous diagonal attacker Alexander Duncan-Thibault stands out among the players, while middle blocker Elias Walther has already been named MVP twice in previous games. A clear signal that the opponents should be taken seriously!

Challenge for the Blue Volleys

Coach Robert Werner sees the two games as a crucial test for his team. "This double game day against strong opponents will show where we stand and where we can go. We still have a score to settle against Bühl from last year, where we suffered a heavy defeat in Bühl," he emphasizes. The meeting with Ludwigsburg also promises to be exciting, as the team has signed some top-class newcomers, but doesn't seem to be completely settled yet. "It will be a question of strength," adds Werner, "but everyone is fit and ready. Our new middle blocker Max Crowder will also be there."
