Thuringian pianist Florian Spindler rocks the VOX show The Piano!

The native of Suhler Florian Spindler was committed to music early on. Inspired by his musical family and the support of his wife Jule, he found his way to the piano and would now like to reach a wider audience with his participation in the VOX show "The Piano".

Since childhood, he has been passing the piano passion, even if it decreased somewhat during puberty. His enthusiasm was rekindled when he saw playing a street pianist in Erfurt during his studies. "At the time, I found it extremely inspiring how he moved people," recalls Florian.

The trip to the piano

Florian bought a piano and began to play on the streets in his home country. He was particularly active on the Anger, the fish market and the little market in Erfurt. His talent was not unnoticed and he was booked for weddings and other events. For a while he was even able to live exclusively from his music and performed in cities like Jena and Weimar.

But Florian soon noticed that he lived in a "dream bubble". He only felt like the musician and no more than the person behind the role. In order to counteract this feeling, he fulfilled another dream: playing the piano on the beach, which not only brought him joy, but also his wife Jule. Together as "the dream dancers", they now have two children and live in Neubrandenburg.

His participation in "The Piano" is an exciting turn. Jule persuaded him to the casting, where pop star Mark Forster and the renowned pianist Igor Levit are looking for an exceptional piano talent. Florian did it and will perform on the show with a creative boogie Woogie. "This is my rebellion against the classic grading structure," he explains.

The exciting shoot in Berlin

The shoot in Berlin was an exciting experience for Florian and Jule. "We didn't know what to expect, but ultimately the excitement turned into joy," said Florian. He brings a carefree energy into his appearance and describes the coaches as "super friendly and authentic". Jule is also enthusiastic about the experience and actively supports her husband. How far Florian gets on the show remains to be seen, and the first episode will be broadcast on October 1st.

Even if participation in "The Piano" does not bring the hoped -for success, the couple will not be boring. Jule Plans to publish her first album with her band in February, and her musical journey continues.
