Christmas magic in Altenburg: Nutcracker concerts everyone enchanted!

The Altenburger Land music school celebrates its 70th anniversary with two magical Christmas concerts that take visitors into the magical world of the nutcracker. On December 7th in the Altenburger Brüderkirche and on December 14th in the Schmöllner Stadtkirche St. Nicolai, each at 5 p.m., a musical festival awaits the guests. Admission begins at 4 p.m., i.e. come early and enjoy the festive atmosphere!

The concerts promise a colorful program that includes classic Christmas carols and the unforgettable film music of "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella". The audience can look forward to the famous melodies by Peter Tchaikovsky, including the "Dance of the Sugar Fee" and the "flower waltz" from the ballet "The Nutcracker". Also included are the Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra "Da Capo", a accordion ensemble, a recorder ensemble, the brass ensemble, the children's ballet and the mixed music school choir - a truly festive ensemble that makes the hearts of the listeners beat faster. Admission is free, but donations for music school work are welcome. Attention: the places are limited!
