Dispute over Ponitz primary school: A lack of teachers ensures worries!

The school management of the Ponitz primary school decided in consultation with the school office to keep the school closed in the new year. The main reason for this is the acute lack of teachers. The children of the first and second classes have to go to school in Gößnitz. Classes three and four have been attending the neighboring school since December. Greunke fears that the lack of teachers will be used as an excuse to close primary school.

He reported on eight applications that he handed over to the school office in East Thuringia. However, this number is contested by the school office because it cannot confirm it. The school authority has the intention of improving the personnel situation quickly.
