District Administrator Uwe Melzer took on the role of the chairman of the supervisory board and was elected in a remarkable meeting at the end of September. After many years on duty, Dr. Bernhard Blüher, a real pioneer of the clinic since 1994, handed over the reins. Blüher is revered in the region as one of the “fathers” of the clinic and was significantly involved in its success story.
