Information evening: your chance of a career in nursing!

Krankenpflegeschule, Klinikum Altenburger Land, Altenburg, Deutschland - On January 10, 2025, the Altenburger Land Clinic organizes an information evening on the training programs in the nursing sector. The information evening is aimed at interested parties who want to learn more about the tasks and requirements for nursing professions. Topics will be the application process and the training itself.

The event will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the hospital's nursing school. The meeting point is in the foyer of the clinic and registration is not required. During the evening, the participants have the opportunity to take a tour and gain an insight into the Skills Lab. Parents and friends are also cordially invited to find out more about the training courses.

training offers and application information

The clinic has been training nurses since 1992 and this year offers a total of 40 training positions as a nursing specialist or the nursing specialist as well as 12 training positions in health and nursing aids. Interested parties also have the opportunity to submit their application documents for training on the information evening, which will start on September 1, 2025. A letter of motivation, a curriculum vitae, a copy of the last school certificate as well as working or internship certificates and a medical certificate for health suitability are required for the application.

In addition to training as a nursing specialist, the Altenburger Land Clinic offers a generalistic training, which has brought together the areas of health and nursing, geriatric care as well as health and pediatric nursing since January 1, 2020. This training enables people of all ages in various supply areas, including hospital, nursing home and outpatient services. The generalistic professional qualification is also recognized in other EU member states, which significantly expands the professional perspectives.
