An exciting event is coming! From November 18th to 23rd, 2024, the 4th StartUp Week in Central Saxony will shake up the start-up scene. This week has long since established itself as a highlight for those interested in founding a business, start-ups and established entrepreneurs. Parallel to the BMWK's founding week in Germany, there will be numerous events that promote networking and the exchange of ideas. Organized by the “Start-ups in Central Saxony” initiative, the event promises to be a magnet for creative minds!
A special highlight is the SAXEED Innovation Day, which will take place on November 21, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the foyer of the Schlossplatzquartier lecture hall building in Freiberg. The Mittelsachsen Award 2024 will be presented here, a prize that honors courageous entrepreneurs for their innovations and sustainable approaches. This year, the focus is on the region's talented founders. Together with Sparkasse Döbeln, promising start-ups that embody fresh ideas and entrepreneurial spirit were nominated. Until November 20th, citizens have the opportunity to vote online for their favorite and support the innovative talents!
The nominees
The nominees include exciting projects from Freiberg: CYNiO, DuCem UG, MiViA GmbH, NAF – New Age of Food UG and ReViSalt GmbH. These start-ups stand for creativity and innovative strength and help to strengthen Central Saxony as an attractive business location. The winner of the Mittelsachsen Award will be announced on November 21st as part of the SAXEED Innovation Day. An evening full of inspiration and recognition for the next generation of successful entrepreneurs!
